Northern Wood Products, Inc offers a limited lifetime warranty of Interior Plantation shutters to the purchaser. The shutters are warranted against defective materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of the original installation. The finish shall be warranted for a period of six years from the date of the original installation.

The consumer is expected to use the shutters in compliance with the said purpose of the specific window or door to ensure product integrity. Reasonable maintenance of the shutters is expected to occur such as cleaning them or adjusting the tension screw without incurring any damage to the shutters.

In the event that a manufacturers defect in material or workmanship occurs, Northern Wood Products, Inc agrees to remedy or repair the defective product without charge to the customer.

Northern Wood Products, Inc. shall not be held responsible for incidental or consequential damages, nor damage due to aging (normal wear and tear), disasters, acts of war, abuse, unauthorized uses other than intended purpose, nor for extended exposure to the elements, including excessive or prolonged exposure to moisture. Any abuse, alteration or misuse of the products voids the warranty entirely. Please note that shutters panels exceeding 36 inches in width are excluded from this warranty.

Please contact the dealer from whom you purchased the shutters to obtain your warranty evaluation. The dealer will contact Northern Wood Products, Inc. to determine the best course of action for the warranty claim. If the warranty claim is valid, repair or replacement will be issued. If the product has been sold uninstalled to the consumer, the product must be returned to Northern Wood Products, inc., at the consumer or dealers expense.
